Approximately 100 Islip High School students participated in Educator for a Day on Nov. 21, an interactive experience run by the student union that provides the opportunity for seniors to spend a day in the life of their teachers or administrators. The students collaborated with teachers to create lesson plans for the day, teach their classes and experience what their teachers do every day.  

“Educator for a Day is something that seniors look forward to each year, and it is a tradition that I am happy to uphold,” student union adviser Kristen D’Attoma said.
