Islip High School cosmetology students Dominique DiJulio and Gabrianna Zamor participated in their first Long Island Teacher’s Guild cosmetology event on May 1, competing against other Nassau and Suffolk cosmetology students for “up-style techniques” in the Junior category. Both students won praise from judges and set high standards for Islip’s inclusion in the 2024 competition.

“Gabby and Dominique are extremely talented and hardworking students who possess maturity and skill far beyond their years,” teacher Lorraine Knoblauch said. “They are an example to all students regarding work ethic and commitment.”
