Students in Islip High School’s National Honor Society and World Language Honor Society joined forces to run a school supply drive in June, donating more than 35 backpacks of supplies to the Suffolk County Department of Social Services for distribution to needy students. The drive was organized by NHS adviser Kerri Schmalacker and WLHS advisers Sarah Ito and Megan Schierhorst.
