As part of Wing Elementary School’s Pick a Reading Partner (PARP) week, members of Islip Middle School’s student government visited Wing on March 25 to read with two first-grade classes. In keeping with this year’s theme, “Wild About Reading,” the middle schoolers enthusiastically chose picture books and created talking cubes for the younger students.

“Both the first graders and middle school students could not have enjoyed their time together more,” teacher Curt Reichert said.
