The Islip Board of Education will hold a budget workshop and regular Board meeting in the Islip High School Auditorium on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. The meeting will open at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to go immediately into Executive Session. The public business portion of the meeting, beginning with the budget workshop, will open at approximately 7:30 p.m.
In-person attendance will be limited based on current NYS social distancing guidelines. This number will include the Board of Education and any presenters, honorees, and registered participants. If you would like to attend in person, please complete this registration form. As a reminder, all attendees are required to complete a health form and undergo a temperature check before entering the auditorium. A facial covering must be worn at all times while in our buildings.
The meeting will also be broadcast via Zoom. Please visit the Zoom registration page to attend virtually. The Q&A feature will be available to allow participation from those attending virtually. Please note that if you choose to attend this way, you must use your full name when submitting questions through the Q&A feature. In keeping with Board meeting policy, questions submitted anonymously will not be answered.
The agenda for the meeting will be available to the public through BoardDocs on the District website. Those attending virtually may also submit questions via email to BofEducation@islipufsd.org prior to the start of the meeting. Please indicate in your email that the question is for the meeting and include your name and address with your questions.
