Elementary and middle schoolers in Islip’s EXCEL program recently enjoyed a “Teacher Swap” virtual learning lesson via Flipgrid, in which the students were given the opportunity to become the teacher and teach a lesson of their choice. They first submitted lesson plans and then shared with their peers across grade levels, teaching each other everything from atomic structure to violin and gardening.
