Catherine Romano, President of the Board of Education
President's Message

On behalf of my fellow board members, I welcome you to the Islip Public Schools. This website contains useful information for parents, students, and community members. It will be a powerful source of current information during the school year. You are encouraged to visit often and share your questions or concerns through our e-mail link.

During the summer months, we structured a vision and began establishing the goals for the year. We continue to gather input at our meetings, through Community Forums, and most recently meeting with High School students. We look forward to hearing from you through our e-mail link or at our meetings. Please join us in working together to provide the highest quality education and opportunities for all our children.
