Islip Honors 23 Terrific AP Scholars

A total of 23 terrific high school students were recently named AP Scholars by the College Board, recognizing their academic excellence in college-level Advanced Placement courses and exams.

Brian Abair, Molly Breakstone, Anastasia Cardlin, Madelyn Germano, Kelly Mak, Brandon Novarro, Darienne Rogers, Sofia Rubinson and Gregory Warnokowski were named 2019 AP Scholars with Distinction, awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. 

Brianna Altman and Kristen Scheidel were named 2019 AP Scholars with Honor, awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. 

Madison Andersen, Sydney Camenzuli, Devi Chowdhury, Sude Gokce, Laura Infante, Kayla McKenna, Matthew Murphy, Gabriella Reyes, Danielle Thierwechter, Jason Vitale, Isis Williams and Katy Zurbaran were named 2019 AP Scholars, awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
