Islip educators recently participated in nErD Camp, an “unconference” with a focus on literacy. The event’s discussion topics were chosen by the attendees, who included Superintendent Ellen Semel and Commack Road Elementary School Principal James Cameron as well as Jordan Bonfiglio, Pam Brandstetter, Marianne Chorusey, Melissa Clehane, Ann Hess, Lori Knudsen, Nicole Macolino, Lisa Maraia, Julie McGarty, Katie Rooney and Kim Wilson.
