A total of 11 exceptional student-musicians from the high school were recently chosen to perform at the 63rd annual New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education All-County Festival. The NYSCAME All-County concert will take place Nov. 15 at Huntington High School.
Erin Quinn (contra-alto clarinet) and Gregory Warnokowski (alto saxophone) will perform with the All-County Band.
Shannon Brody (viola) will perform with the All-County Orchestra.
Toni Castronova (alto), Tyler Cirulnick (alto), Nicholas D’Auria (tenor), Brandon Larson (tenor), Joseph Leo (bass) and Katy Zurbaran (alto) will perform with the All-County Mixed Chorus.
Marisa Esposito (alto) and Noelle Richard (alto) will perform with the All-County Treble Chorus.
“I am pleased that so many talented students from Islip High School were accepted into All-County ensembles,” said Dr. Jeff S. Dailey, Islip’s interim director of fine and performing arts. “It shows the dedication of the student musicians, their parents and teachers to the art of music.”
