Wing teamed up with the Children’s Tumor Foundation to bring awareness to neurofibromatosis, holding an enthusiastic “Hero Dash” on May 29 with cape-clad students running to raise funds for research. The students learned about philanthropy and how they can make a difference in society.

“Our students are heroes every day, but today they truly felt like heroes,” said teacher Lisa Dieumegard, who coordinated the event. “It is on days such as these that students learn how to continue to give back to their community and help others.”
