Due to the time sensitive nature of several items recommended for consideration at the Board of Education meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 24th, a brief special meeting of the Islip Board of Education will be held at 4;00 p.m. in the Islip High School Community Room on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

The Board of Education will only entertain questions from the public on those items before them at this meeting. No other public comment session will be offered. Please also note that this meeting will not be live streamed. The agenda will be available for public review at least 48 hours prior to the meeting through BoardDocs on the District website.
