Islip High School Students Selected for Prestigious Music Honors

The Islip High School music program is proudly celebrating a stellar achievement by its students following their first group rehearsal as they prepare for some very impactful shows.Â
Under the direction of their dedicated faculty, these students have earned distinction at both the county and state levels.
🎶 Honors Awarded
- At the state level, student Nicholas Gulick was selected as an alternate for the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State honors.
- At the county level (Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association), an impressive group of eight students from Islip were named to the All-County ensembles:
