Budget Re-Vote and Upcoming Board of Education Meetings

The Budget Re-Vote will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in the Islip High School gymnasium. The polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Voters are being asked to consider a proposition on the revised proposed budget for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Board of Education will hold a brief meeting after the polls close and the votes canvassed, starting at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the high school. The agenda for the meeting will be available to the public at least 48 hours before the meeting through BoardDocs on the District website.

The Board of Education will also hold a special meeting in the Islip High School Community Room on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The meeting will open at 4:30 p.m., and it is anticipated the Board will immediately convene into an executive session for the purpose of discussing the employment history of a particular person or persons. It is further anticipated that no other official public business will take place before the meeting is adjourned.
