Public Hearing on New Budget & Board of Education Meeting - Tuesday, June 9, 2026

The Islip Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the new proposed budget for the 2026-2027 school year and regular business meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, starting at 6:00 p.m. at Islip High School. It is anticipated that after opening the meeting the Board will convene into executive session.

The public business portion of the meeting, featuring recognition of District retirees and the public hearing on the new proposed budget, will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the HS auditorium. Paper copies of the agenda in English, Spanish, Pashto, and Urdu will be available at the check-in table in the lobby. In-person attendees also have the option to borrow a device to translate the proceedings into multiple languages in real-time.

The public session will also be live streamed via the Board's YouTube channel. Any questions or comments for the Board from those planning to watch the live stream may be emailed to DistrictClerk@islipufsd.org prior to the meeting's start time. A digital version of the agenda will be available at least 48 hours before the meeting through BoardDocs on the District website.
