Islip Board of Education Recognizes Newly Tenured Teachers

BOE Recognition: Newly Tenured TeachersThe Islip Board of Education and Administrative Team recently recognized three outstanding educators – James Feeney, Matthew Kriss, and Curt Reichert – for achieving tenure in the district. 

Tenure represents a significant milestone in an educator’s career, reflecting years of dedication, professionalism, and commitment to student success. 

At the recent board meeting, administrators and trustees commended the honorees for their contributions to the Islip school community, noting the positive impact each has made on students in and out of the classroom.

Superintendent Dennis O'Hara and members of the Board expressed pride in celebrating this achievement, highlighting that the teachers’ accomplishments exemplify the strength and excellence of Islip’s faculty.
