Islip High School is celebrating two standout seniors after midfield anchor Abby Dieumegard and defensive stalwart Julia Dromerhauser were selected to Newsday’s Preseason Top 100 girls soccer list.

Dieumegard enters her final season as a four-year varsity starter, recognized for her consistency in the center of the park and her ability to drive play on both sides of the ball. 

Dromerhauser returns to lead a disciplined back line that allowed multiple goals only three times during last year’s 12–3 campaign, underscoring her impact as a tough, athletic defender.

The dual recognition highlights the depth and leadership within Islip’s program as the Buccaneers open another competitive fall season. 

The district congratulates both athletes on this well-earned honor and looks forward to their continued success on the field.
