We hope you are having a wonderful summer! 

The team here at Islip UFSD has been busy preparing to welcome back our students, faculty, and staff in just a few short days.  Mailings have been sent home with important information, and we wanted to provide an update on student transportation.   

We are excited to tell you about the new transportation software the district is in the process of implementing.  Transfinder has enhanced capabilities that can optimize efficiency in our transportation department.  In addition to the bus information sent home, this Friday we will be sending an electronic communication to share your student transportation details, including bus passes and pickup times.  Please know it is imperative to ensure that your email address is accurate and up to date in the school database so that you can receive all pertinent information; to update your email address please contact the main office of your child's school.  

We ask for your cooperation, understanding, and patience as we transition to this new system and invite you to contact us with your questions.
