To celebrate a focus on narrative writing, the young authors in Christine LeMaire’s fourth-grade at Commack Road opened “LeMaire’s Literacy Café,” with students rotating throughout the “café” to read and comment on the writing of their classmates.

“Sharing our small moments in time while celebrating our accomplishments helps build our class community,” said LeMaire.
