After reading the Bob Shea book “Big Plans,” third-graders at Commack Road came up with their goals for third grade, for their school career and for adulthood. The students and teacher Shannon Dignam then discussed short-term and long-term goals in class.

“They were excited to talk about their goals for their future,” said Dignam. “I look forward to seeing these ‘big plans’ in action with this great bunch of third-graders.”
