Six students from the high school were selected by Islip American Legion Rusy-Bohm Post 411 for this past summer’s Legion’s Boys State and Auxiliary Girls State leadership programs.

Christopher Giuliani and Nicholas Nilsen were chosen as primary delegates and James Rindos as an alternate for Boys State. Victoria Arthus and Lauren Cottral were picked as citizens and Tiana Seide as an alternate for Girls State.

“We are very proud of these students, who were recognized for their exceptional leadership skills and academic accomplishments,” said Principal Michael Mosca.
