The high school’s World Language Honor Society shared in the spirit of the holiday season by collecting new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children in need living in Suffolk County. The Islip community once again came together to donate numerous gifts, which will be distributed directly to the children by the Suffolk County Department of Social Services.

“We extend our sincere appreciation to all the participants in the community for their generosity and support,” said WLHS adviser Karen Maisano. “Kindness is a language everyone understands.”
