Islip Faculty Donates Thanksgiving Meals to Community

Boxes of Donated Goods and Food thumbnail207848
Assistant Superintendent for Student Support Services Dr. Kate O’Callaghan and Islip High School teacher Renee Clock picked up 25 Thanksgiving food baskets from the Town of Islip. Each year, the Town and Islip’s Food for Hope create baskets containing traditional Thanksgiving dinner food, including a turkey. These were created through collections gathered through Islip’s Food for Hope donation and food drive. After collecting the baskets, Dr. O’Callaghan and Ms. Clock distributed them to Islip School District families in need with the assistance of the school social workers.
