Numerous members of Islip High School’s county champion varsity girls soccer team were recently recognized by the Suffolk County Girls Soccer Coaches Association, including Rosa Bono (All-League), McKenna Eastwood (All-Conference), Kaeli McAnally (All-League and county championship game MVP), Maddison Micheletti (All-County, Class A Player of the Year), Carley Mullins (All-League), Grace Rao (All-Conference) and Brielle Zink (All-League) as well as coach Mike Reilly (League 6 Coach of the Year and Class A Coach of the Year).

Micheletti was also recently named Newsday All-Long Island First Team, NYSSCOGS First Team All-State, New York State Class A Player of the Year and United Soccer Coaches All-American, the highest honor a player can receive. Reilly was also named New York State Class A Coach of the Year.
