Fifth graders at Commack Road and Sherwood elementary schools recently celebrated a milestone in their educational careers, with both schools holding exciting drive-through moving up ceremonies on June 17. Students and parents in proudly decorated cars drove past cheering staff as they looked ahead to middle school.

“It was a great day for our students and community,” said Sherwood Principal Chad Walerstein. “It was wonderful to see so many smiles.”
