Demonstrating admirable community service, first graders in Justin Lollo’s class at Wing spent time on Dec. 19 making bologna sandwiches for donation to Bethany House at St. Patrick’s Church in Bay Shore.

“These students came just six sandwiches short of the class goal of 150 sandwiches, but they learned the valuable lesson of giving and helping to make a difference in the lives of others,” said Lollo.
