Sex Offender E-mail Alert Program

The Board of Education recently considered utilizing a new Sex Offender E-mail Alert Program in lieu of our traditional postcard notification system as offered by the Parents for Megan’s Law organization. However, after much deliberation, they determined to keep the postcard system for the 2005-06 school year, but also make our residents aware of the new electronic notification system and evaluate its use for the 2006-07 school year.

To this end, if you click on the following link, www.parentsformeganslaw.com, you will be able to access registration materials to permit you to participate in the new notification alert system.

Please be assured that the District will continue to utilize the postcard notification protocol that has been in place over the last few years for the current school year, but we strongly encourage you to try this new e-mail alert system.
