During the morning of Oct. 10, kindergartners at Wing Elementary School rotated from class to class reciting and learning about nursery rhymes such as “Baa Baa Black Sheep,” “Jack and Jill,” “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” and “Jack Be Nimble” during the second annual Mother Goose Day. The event was an opportunity to introduce the students to nursery rhymes and work on vocabulary. Teachers also incorporated lessons on science and history relating to individual nursery rhymes.
