Positive Priorities at IMS

As part of its Red Ribbon Week activities, the middle school welcomed presenter Susan Goodman, whose “Stand Up! Speak Out!” musical assembly served to illuminate the values of diversity, community and kindness. Through the school’s advisory program, Islip students also signed pledges to demonstrate their commitment to remain drug and alcohol free.

“Educating our students to make positive choices continues to be a priority at IMS,” said school social worker Shari Pennington.
