Police officer Sabrina Pitch from Suffolk County’s Community Response Bureau recently visited sixth-grade social studies classes at the middle school, speaking on the importance of cyber safety. Students were encouraged to make good choices and to think about choosing other activities instead of going online.

“Officer Pitch’s presentation on awareness of the dangers of social media was quite effective,” said teacher Sue Davis. “She was professional and caring while imparting an important message about Internet safety.”
