Seatuck Environmental Association Education Director Pete Walsh recently visited fourth-graders at Sherwood, introducing them to Seatuck’s tools and procedures, and the reasons behind the organization’s crucial work in hydrogeology. During the classroom talk, Walsh and the students examined the journey that local water takes from groundwater to surface water, ponds, estuaries and finally to the Great South Bay.
