Senior Wendy Tully-Gustafson Reaches National Merit Elite


High school senior Wendy Tully-Gustafson recently achieved the level of finalist in the 61st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. She was recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation for her exceptional test scores in the 2014 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, and will continue to compete for one of 7,6000 National Merit Scholarships worth approximately $33 million.

“We are so proud of Wendy for this accomplishment,” said Principal Michael Mosca. “Not only does she stand out amongst her Islip peers, but this honor puts her in a category with an elite group of students nationwide.”
