Islip High School Students Recognized for Community Service

Students in the Islip High School Junior Chamber of Commerce Club received a “Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Voluntary Service to the Town of Islip Youth Bureau and Youth Service Agencies” at the Town of Islip Youth Bureau Volunteer Recognition Night. Throughout the year, the 40 members of the club have tutored fellow students, participated in youth mentoring activities, provided lawn maintenance and snow removal for residents in need, and various other activities through their affiliation with the South Shore Community Organization.
