ISLIP SCHOOL DISTRICT SURVEYS |
| The Islip School District's long-range planning initiative includes gathering input from various stakeholders within the Islip Schools community so that areas in need of improvement can be identified and addressed. Since 2006, the District has conducted three surveys, consisting of two voter exit surveys at the annual budget votes in May 2006 and May 2007, as well as a parent survey that was administered in May 2007. The results of each survey indicate that overall, residents and parents are pleased with the quality of education in Islip. However, the Board of Education and central administration agree that there is always room for improvement as they work collaboratively to make the Islip School District a district of quality.
